I remember it well. Was gutted. Drew Brand's first & only game for my beloved blues ... & he conceded 5. At the time I was the ONLY Evertonian in a South Yorkshire school of almost 600 kids. Scousers can mock us "wools" ... but we pay a far higher price, both financially & timewise (travel) ... in following our team.

I couldn't bear to watch Leeds after 1975, Revie leaving without clearing out the dead wood was unforgivable!!

What deadwood? They'd just won the league title in Revie's last season.

Speaking as a long term Leeds fan I'd have to say that the 2nd penalty..wasn't a penalty..Lorimer fell in the box but he was fouled outside it. Everton should have had a free kick just before that when McKenzie fouled Kenyon.

There was also a lot of pressure on "the Irish temperament" of a lot of lads who made a big noise in Blighty... Terry Wogan and Pat Magee, to name but two.

Surprised that they weren't still winning trophies, Clark, Bremner, Reaney, Madeley, Yorath, Lorimer, Harvey, Cherry, with MacKenzie and Frank Gray mystery , maybe it was Revie

2 goalkeeping errors, a hugely deflected free kick and poor defending in general, plus Everton’s unnecessarily twice taken penalty-but that’s football !

Wasnt a great fan of David Harvey . When you look at the keepers leeds had in their hayday you have to question the quality . Maybe its me but they wouldve won more silverware.

Harvey was better than Sprake but when you look at Leeds teams of that era goal keepers were the weak link after that era we had Mervin Day so things got no better

@@leedsboy64 Can't argue with that, if they'd had someone like Clemence or Shilton (or Corrigan, or Stepney, or Jennings, to name a few), they'd surely have won more. Sprake for me was the King of the Cock-ups.
