I remember as a kid sitting in my room going through all the cool Harley Davidson dirt bike brochures. I used to dream of getting one of these 90' s. What a great little machine. I wish Harley would have stayed in the on/off road market. It would have been interesting to see what that would have evolved to.

Had a 74, it was my first real mini bike after I blew up my lawn mower minibike. My friends & I beat the crap out of it riding all the florida sugar sand trails & whoops. Never let me down never broke down & all my friends ended up riding it when their TM’s, & yz’s would break. Miss it, it was a blast to ride & so reliable. Wish I still had it. Love the channel👍 Keep it up.

My first real bike after my coleman minibike. Its what I learned to shift gears on at 9yrs old. Indestructible, never let me down! Wish I would’ve kept mine.

I was very lucky to have rode one of these as a kid. They were much more fun than other mini bikes of the day, such as the Honda Trail 70. Much faster too. 2 stroke vs 4 stroke with 20 more cc's and tall gearing.

I had one of those when I was in high school. Mine was a '74. Only difference was the tank graphics and the speedo was a little bigger. I had mine up to 65 mph one time, 2 up! Same engine as the X90 mini bike. I had one of those too. It was nice having an uncle that owned a Harley shop. Oh, that one is a 1973. Same tank graphics as my 73 X90.

Me and my brother had one of these as kids. We rode it to death, riding it as a dirt bike. I don't think it was meant to be MX'd. I have thought about this bike so much. Good to see one here.

I bought on of these in 1980 to commute around college at Texas A&M. It was stolen once and the police brought it back in the trunk of their squad car. Later, as a prank people threw in my apartment pool. It was very hard to find parts even in 1980, such as the broken headlight.

If the gas tank is original on this bike, this is a 1973 model just so you know. I know, I used to ride them and work on them. I grew up in a family owned harley dealership in the 60's and 70's.

I always thought the Z90 was a weird looking motorcycle the way the front headlight is mounted and hangs over the frame head pipe, and the way the carburetor/intake bends and sticks out the right side. Its ironic how stylish and good looking the Harley big twins are and how ugly some of the Harley/Aermacchi motorcycles were.

@@wheelie63 The VIN tells you: 3D11839H3. H3 is for 1973. I have an H3 and H4 already, so too bad since I'm looking to complete the collection with a '75.
