In this video I’m going to show you what’s involved in a Porsche 914 floor pan installation! My Porsche 914 Restoration is now on Part 5 and I’m really enjoying the process. However, please note, I don’t intend a full car restoration and that’s because the complete restoration of old cars involves stripping down to the chassis and having it dipped or sand blasted and that was never my plan.
As I mentioned in the video, I imported my 1975 Porsche 914 from the West coast USA. That was quite a few years ago. Unfortunately, I got busy with other projects and the poor little car sat outside for a while until I brought it back into the garage in the last restoration video and assessed its condition.

The Porsche 914 floor pan replacement isn’t difficult, but it is time consuming! In my car restoration videos, I try to be honest about the problems encountered and the costs. Speak of costs, classic car restoration is expensive, especially if it is a Porsche restoration, as parts seem to be especially pricey but I’m keeping a list of costs for this Porsche 914 repair, and I will add them all up and reveal the costs when I get the car back on the road!
