A look at the arrival of the (Western) Samoa Teacher's Cultural Group as they arrive at Auckland International Airport in 1976.
The cultural group - which later became commonly referred to as TTC (Teacher's Training College) or Ausiva Faiaoga - were representing the then Western Samoa at the 2nd Inaugural South Pacific Arts Festival which was held in Rotorua that year.
This footage features them arriving and greeting family at the airport, also an impromptu performance at the airport carpark. Some missing audio in the video - lucky around the 7:39 mark, I was able to add in a live recorded audio piece of the same performance that was recorded during the festival, as well as another one of their recordings 'Le Matagi e'.
