Beautiful car and considering it’s age remarkably well preserved. They don’t build them like that anymore and for good reason. That thing handles like a loaded dump truck. Even with a 5.8 L it accelerates like a tiny 4 cylinder engine at a whopping 149 hp. How do I know, I own one. It can be modified now where I live using modern technology which will be useful and I can make it do what I want. This one belongs in a museum of the later Detroit malaise years.

The car that was the real T- Bird killer just a made over Torino beacase that Car got killed off in 76 so ford gives the Grand Torino a overdose of Steroids for 77 and come up with a hair brained idea of calling this oversized extended hood freak the LTD ll C’mon what the heck the 76 Grand Torino was perfect in my opinion and me I liked fthe big 76 Lincoln sized elegant T - Birds the 77 - 79s were oh well null & void and the Box/ Zephyr / Fairmont birds 80 - 82 were dispicable the AeroBirds 83 - 88 were cool & different and I did like them

Just been to a car show in Sydney Mines Nova Scotia. Over 600 cars but no T-Bird from this era. A 63 & 64 but nothing like this. I'd love to be the first with one with this car. Magnificent!

Is there a collector's market for these 70s land yachts? I find them hideous and poorly designed.
