Love these cars. I bought one for 700.00 around 1993 and my GF daily drove it and we took it to car cruises. Great driving car. Mine had the Pontiac 400 , red interior with console. I really regret selling it but back then it wasn't really considered all that desirable. I think I sold it for 1500.00 and made a nice profit on it. That's the way it was back then. We bought all kinds of cool cars, always under 1000.00 , fixed them up, had fun and sold them to buy something else. I'd love to have one today though.

I just love the design of these two-door GM "colonnade body" coupes of the late 1970s. Especially with the quad square headlights. This one looks superb and sounds real good too.

I bought one new in 1977 and it had the better Pontiac T/A 6.6 engine. Had red interior red bucket seats but no console with shifter on column. I made the scoop functional and added the dual exhaust and a distributor timing curve kit plus a carb rejet. Ran well for what it was with the mild factory cam and low compression. It was the only one that our local dealer ever got in.

It's WaNGer...N O T WaNGLer! DO some DILIGENT research! How can you possibly purport to be a car aficionado & NOT be aware of exactly who it is for which your subject owes its origin?!......besides being ignorant of the correct pronunciation of that person's name. Geez!!!! How can you allege being a Pontiac guy & be so disrespectful of Jim Wangers....who besides "Bunkie" Knudsen & Herb Adams, is perhaps the most revered icon of Pontiacs' place in automotive history?!
