@@karlzipp181, he's referring to the same game, the Orange Bowl for the '84 season, played in January '85. @karlzipp181

As bad as that time was, it was better for Moon to play right away in the CFL than sit and never play in the NFL. The usual way a QB reached play status, was sit 3or 4 years then play. Knowing now that if he was drafted, he would sit 4 years then cut or traded due to racial bias. Ownership would not allow a black QB until Doug Williams forced eyes open.

Moon's 1st five years in pro football were unbelievable. As quarterback with the Edmonton Eskimos, he led the team to five straight Grey Cup titles (1978-82). Made Coach Hugh Campbell proud...& the city of Edmonton, AB. as well. It's a shame that the N.F.L. teams passed him up, but the Canadian Football League didn't. And yes, he did eventually get into the N.F.L., with great passing marks in Houston & Minnesota. Eventually went into both...I say 'both'...football Hall of Fames in Hamilton, ON. & Canton, OH. And, in the end, there shouldn't be any shame at all!!!

You think this team is better than the 1991 Huskies? They beat their opponents by an average of over 30 points per game that season. And Miami, whom they shared the national title with, they clapped them in the very first game of the following season. That team had a 22 game win streak. Might be fate. To have the chance to tie that in the natty. And regardless of who we lose to the draft, we are beating Weber state, and Eastern Michigan. Those are the first two on the schedule, so we could break that record at 24 games. Never thought I’d live to see it.
