you did great job .if I'm doing all this work on a motor I'm getting new pistons and rings . 2-stroke motor pistons don't cost that much . just saying

Install the exhaust manifold before the heads to tru up the cylinders...otherwise your intake may not be flush when installing and you may warp it tightening it down!

nothing on base gaskets...unless its a liquid cooled Rotax!....then its a thin film of anerobic gasket sealer to keep the coolant from eroding the gasket at the water passages.

Is Threebond better than Hylomar? Hondabond or Yamabond?

Hi Jim, No I would say the Hondabond or Yamabond is slightly better than this stuff. I think this is an aftermarket copy version of the original Three-bond. It is not as runny or workable as the stuff I use to use.
