I drove one of these trans stars for years , it ia a good truck, ok power , maneuvered excellent , that was its best quality , decent on fuel and was very reliable and didn't use too much oil , i currently have a 1985 2 axle dump truck ten speed with a 300 big cam cummings and a 2200 series illegally i pull 80,000 but legal 8 tons on truck 12 on the trailer and it does it all day loog this is a great truck BUT carb got me and froze my registration absolutely nothing wrong with the truck and I HATE to get rid of it but i have no choice this sucks but i love my old truck.

🚛🚛🚛👍 2:29 very short cab on that semi truck. I hardly ever see any cabover semi trucks around anymore whether regular or sleeper cabs.

why do they Only allow cab over engines in Europe ? good luck to the rest
@cjjaxxon

There's still some old cabovers here in the states. The Freightliner Argosy was the last one. People didn't like cabovers no more in the 1990s. I remember drivers avoiding them like the plague unless you drove for UPS. Lol.

by trailer dimensions, in europe are limited ,and cabover are more short...

@@cjjaxxon Why were people avoiding them? Because of the noise in the cabin? I think they're really beautiful.

@@jeshkam one was because of the looks. The other was the way they rode. I've driven an International setback axle, Frieghtliner setback, and a Kenworth Aerodyne. I loved them all. But they all had a short wheelbase. I mean they rode comfortable. But not like a conventional.
