Haha! I remember now.. I drove my Plymouth Fire Arrow far beyond it's expected lifetime. I got lifetime warranted gas powered liftgate cylinders the first time they wore out. The auto shop that sold me those cylinders.. grew to hate seeing me come back every year for a replacement set. They would sag.. and it was easy to prove. So they replaced them year after year. Like all the rest of that car.. eventually, I could not find any replacement parts..

I had the '79 Fire Arrow. It had a semi-gloss black grille. I think you would like it if you painted it that way. Test it out by laying black on a picture. It makes it look much like a DMC.

That's sounds like you had a great time in that Fire Arrow. I never drove a Fire Arrow but I always wanted one. I still have the Fire Arrow poster hanging up in my garage. Thanks for stopping by.

This Arrow is not the same experience as I had with the 2.6 L. double overhead cam Fire Arrow that I had. I loved the car and readjusted each of it's five valves periodically. Two intakes and two exhausts and one odd air extra that I still don't know the purpose of... other than to give it extra air.. to pass emisssions tests. I eventually slowly shut down the little extra valve.. and my power and mileage seemed to increase.

I love the style of the Plymouth Arrow.. but it was the BIG four cylinder engine that sold me. If I hadn't worn out the first one and had to replace the trans with a Dodge Siracco.. I still would be driving that car. I loved it.

Looks Good! What kind of speakers did you get? Did they fit into the stock locations, or did they have to be fabricated in?

Thanks for checking in, and I appreciate your comments. I spent $2,800 for a killer sound system. The speakers I believe are all JBL high end, and I did not have to fabricate them they fit right inside the original spots. I can get that information for you when I check in with my sound guy this week. And get back to you.

You should seek out a Fire Arrow engine or Dodge equivalant.

All the lights work. I need the wiper switch which is hard to find. She doesn't see rain. I keep her out of the bad weather

@@WARRIOR4CHRIST70 WD 40 is amazing for restoring electrical switches.. but should be followed up by a good blast of air.

@@WARRIOR4CHRIST70 One thing I never had a problem with was lights. I don't remember a problem with the wipers but I think the switch was common to little plymouth and dodges of the time. Actually the wiring is pretty basic if you just want to make it work and don't car about keeping it original.
