I am eternally bitter at Phantom Regiment for deleting their 40-inch bottom bass drum in 1985.

To be fair I'm sure it got harder and harder a case to convince anyone to march that monster.

Apologies :) but this televised competition was from Whitewater, Wisconsin; right before finals week in Montreal, which for whatever reason (money?) wasn’t broadcast this one year (‘81). I *always* love to watch and listen to this footage from ‘81; it’s some of the best, and this was a live crowd. Pray up.
