Hi, great build. May I ask where you got the gauges from and how hard were they to mount and wire? Also did you have to make a custom mount for the ignition switch?
@thebigmarcooch
4 жыл бұрын
The gauges are from Dime City Cycles. They are very strait forward to wire once you’ve established the function of the wires on the stock wire harness. Just make sure you buy the right tach and speedo ratios, or your speed and rpms won’t be accurate. Mounting them was the easiest part. As for the ignition switch, it’s in the stock location, with stock mounting hardware.
@fredz6
4 жыл бұрын
Marco Tinto great thanks for the info, I believe it’s 4:1 ratio for this bike, so you didn’t need any special mounting hardware or brackets?
@thebigmarcooch
4 жыл бұрын
Yes it’s a 4:1 ratio. No special hardware or mounts needed. You can use the same mounting points and hardware used for the stock gauge bracket. The new gauges themselves have their own mounting brackets
