A bonus, Bo Jackson's legendary performance vs Alabama that won him the Heisman. I'm sure ABC would love to have these games back.

Wow. Dwight Clark and Jerry Rice both on the offensive lineup at the same time. Dwight wins all time 49er receiving title (408 career receptions) in this game. Little did anyone know that the rookie #80 was going to smash that record, and many others as well, in the coming years. But what a weird game from start to finish. Worst Montana (1st half) I've ever seen. Seattle even worse - taking 3 points off the board!??! Almost shut out except for the blocked FG and capture in the end zone. Both teams really struggling. Even the score was weird. And topping it off the ending was weird - ending on a "Defensive Foul. Game is over!" with 16 seconds still on the clock.??!! I thought the game can't end on a penalty. What a weird game. One fantastic highlight at 2:26:33: Dwight Clark's CLASSIC leaping fingertip TD catch in the end zone. That was spectacular, and won him the all time '9er receiving title. That's one thing that Jerry could never do - that leaping, high catch that Dwight did a number of times.

I was going to school and working in SoCal, and I think only three of the World Champion's games were televised that season. I commented on the video, that I really didn't see what the Bears were so boastful about in a 26 - 10 game. A game where the bears only scored one touchdown and a bunch of field goals. It was like they stole the Saints playbook, you know? we will win by having Morten kick field goals all day. BIG DEAL! Regular season games throughout the 80's, da bears beat the Niner's in really close low scoring games, but then, why couldn't they do the same in the playoffs?
