The early days of skating, Gunde Svan, Bill Koch, Audun Endestad, Pierre Harvey, Vladmir Smirnov and many other great stars of the 80's. This is Part 1 of the video
So cool! I was there. My friend and I slept in back of his Suburban and about died from cold. Hit -30 at night I believe. Gunde Svan was amazing! I remember him being the only one to skate up this super steep hill. Thanks for posting!!

Gunde was a force of nature, he reallly mastered skating technique early.. I haven't watched this in almost 10 years, fun to watch again.

I got this on tape too. It's funny to see ESPN in Biwabik. Probably the last time ESPN covers nordic. My cabin is there and it gets cold. It's sweet to see the air shots.

Gunde is the mac. Spent all his money on a kick A 911 Porsche turbo.
