I remember being hooked on this game. After my friends and I had beaten it, we wanted to test out all the environmental hazards present in the game such as intentionally walking into the channel of industrial waste at 8:40, walking off the pier 13:38, nose diving into the molten metal 18:28, etc etc

the fact that nobody is calling out the fact that purple guy is just casually blowing up Satan at the end of the game, just bothers me...like...uh...what?

I always loved how the enemies just shot or incinerated each other like it was no big deal.

I love the camera at the beginning, how the game shows its view before and after it is damaged.

Who else noted that Sega re-used their "ninja magic" audio from "Shinobi" for the "superbomb" in this one?

The sounds & music in general reminded me of shinobi alot. Its obviously the same people involved. Awesome music though
I never played this game originally but it looks (and sounds) great! :-)

This was SUCH a well-designed game. And you could just *taste* the inspiration which came from "Shinobi", naturally. 🙂 Even the super bomb sequence includes the "Kali-AAAHHH!" vocal clip, and there are many sounds which were reused. What a fantastic action + stealth, top-down classic. 🎯 The music was freakin' groovy, too. 💪😎✌️
