In this video, I will be replacing both the Ignition Module (Power Pack) and the Charge Coil on my 1989 Johnson/Evinrude 15HP outboard engine. This process is not the easiest as it entails taking off the flywheel, which can prove to be the hardest part of this entire repair process. I diagnose the problem as either a failure of the charge coil and/or the ignition module because both spark plugs were not producing any spark, I figured that both ignition coils wouldn't go bad at the exact same time.
