Thank you! I actually just got rid of those tips and went with factory style turn downs, but kept the Magnaflow sound. I kept the Magnaflow tips though, just in case, I'm on the fence as to whether I like them or not haha best of luck on your car!

@@RamblinGarage I'm curious on both stopping the rust and the rattle can paint job. I have a hood I'm debating spraying myself.

@Michael M back in my monte carlo days there was a guy that rattle canned his front bumper of his 7th gen ss and it looked fantastic. I think with enough prep and taking your time you can make it look pretty nice.

My Magnaflow system I put on my 85 TA is fairly loud, I chopped out the cat and also installed hooker competition headers and hooker y pipe, I also dropped in a crate motor, SP350/357 from GM and I paired it up with a built TH350 trans with 3000 stall converter and the car rips now. Did a bunch of UMI suspension upgrades as well.

I feel like having headers is probably a large part of that. I'm without cats and mine isn't quiet, but it's also not loud. It think it's pretty close to perfect for what I was going for. That sounds like a fun build!

It'll get like 35% louder over the next 9 months or so.

I hope so! By that time I can decide if I want to go catted y pipe or no cats.

I have a few of my cars in a 35x20' storage unit (in this video) and then keep whatever car I want at the time at my home garage, roughly the same size.

It's a little quiet for my taste, but hoping it opens up a bit! I wish they made it in 304 instead of 409 stainless.. but I'm getting picky. lol

Beautiful car but for me the tips have always taken away from the beauty of the GTA and look out of place.

Thanks! I'm with ya.. when I had my quad tips I was in the same mindset as I'm in now.. "new and neat" but after a few months I went with the dump style.

@@RamblinGarage yeah, indeed. From the perspective of time, it is better to do subtitles, give engine sound as main soundtrack and meanwhile a video/slideshow on how it's done.
