Hi , I find to increase better spark and things like that , if you polish the header by the spark plug till it shines like a mirror it helps engine to run a lot crisper.

Hey Ez. I was watching your videos. You have some good info for the guys that are just starting out. But you messed this one all up. Yes, you can raise the exhaust port and lower the intake ports so they are open thru more crank rotation to make more top end power. Where you messed up was that you raised and lowered the mating surface for your intake and exhaust manifold. You just created a big mismatch. In those areas you should have ground to match the gasket material, gasket matching between the cylinder and manifolds. Where you should have raised and lowered was the port roof and floor of the port going into the cylinder. This will change the port timing of the engine. I just don't want you to lead people down the wrong path and actually make things worse for others.

+mtpratt32 yeah I follow you. There were a couple segments that I created earlier this year to follow up on those points but I'm unable to edit existing videos. I use a paper template on the inside of the ports to create the new port sizing and grind until they match. The video makes it look like I'm only opening up the outside portion but it's carried through all the way. Gasket matching is a pretty important step missed here as well but mentioned in one of my other exhaust videos. All the same I'll probably hide this video until I can make an updated comprehensive video. Thanks for bringing this up. Pretty good points to clear up.

Good video, bad advice. This is no bueno don’t do this. It’s bad advice, this isn’t how to port a 550. Repeat don’t do this
