How she absolutely broke Bob Geldofs heart when she left and later took his children from him was just evil. She was a narcissist in love with thrills - the R&R lifestyle and drugs. Michael started figuring out she was bad news for him but his love for Tiger kept him from leaving and she kept him thoroughly smacked out

She ruined multiple lives. She embraced the paparazzi and tv interviews because they paid her bills whilst complaining they were a nuisance. She did not have a job. Her tv presenter career was over. Bob was the producer of The Big Breakfast. She surely humiliated him on it. Her books are mere fodder. The bad reviews were enough for me to not buy. She threatened suicide to Bob if did not let him have custody of the girls and she threatened Michael she would kill herself if he left her. Michael couldn't take the Bob threats, her whacko bullshit and the pap circus that clung to her that she initiated. Of course Michael didn't want to leave his daughter. She was the one who kept Michael from seeing his daughter whilst she ripped her own family apart in the UK. He killed himself out of despair. She does a well publicised, revealing paid interview to 60 mins claiming Michael would never have left his daughter so she claims it wasn't suicide. But she kept Tiger from him! How hard was it for her to just fly over so he could see his child? A child she claimed they planned. She didn't. So what does that say about her suicide threats? She was willing to leave her children? Some role model mother.

“Paula, Michael & Bob. Everything You Knew Is Wrong”. Reviews: _Paula is described as unstable and unreliable. Considering how she dumped people when they were of no further use to her, this description seems pretty accurate. Yates had a borderline personality, kept under control during the marriage with dependable Geldof. However, after 20 years together Yates was having enough of "Saint" Bob._ _Yates started an affair very early in their marriage, which grew into an obsession. From sordid clandestinity the affair developed into tabloid fodder, thanks to Court battles, fights for money and child custody, substance-abuse escalation, delusion and paranoia, etc... Yates wanted too much and everything to suit her needs. Nobody could contradict her or she threatened suicide. Hutchence, sarcastically described as her "part-time" boyfriend, went down first, crushed by the pressure coupled with his fragile personality._ _At the time of his death Yates was not working, her lavish lifestyle being financed by the men in her life and by her deals with tabloids. Whatever shred of sympathy I might have felt for Yates dissolved after reading of the huge amounts she received for interviews and photos of herself and her children. There is much complaint about gutter press, but it sounds like "she" was more than happy to exploit it when in need...After reading this book I found Yates to be a domineering manipulator and not likeable at all_ Dierregi. Waste of time. _The author barely knew her. The attempt I think was made to make her look like a victim to sell books. In the end, you loathe her. No victim at all. She relied on the paps and tv interviews for money. After so many threats to Sir Bob and Michael Hutchence she would kill herself Michael did. Such a selfish woman._ - Holly Ryan _What rubbish! The books by-line is 'Everything you know is wrong' - not the case and I'm not sure that Agar was totally in the know being just a friend of Paula. Definately told from a Paula loving perspective, trying to paint her in a better light but didn’t. She was an adulterer from the beginning of her marriage. Not my cup of tea, told me nothing new, just seemed to drone on._ -Rebecca Stanford.

I would love for people to take a moment to understand what a talented woman Paula was. She carried Bob in the early days, and he was a bad hisband, even making her to ask him to use the phone in her own home! She fell in love with a man who had waning fame and brain damage. If he didn’t want to be with her, he would have left. She spent her life with him trying to be enough, and Hutchence was still womanizing even when Paula was pregnant. I agree that she used the press for money and spinned it to get Michael to leave Helena, but tbh, they loved each other and she suffered so badly with grief when he died. They both behaved wildly, but I really wish people would appreciate their is a young woman, their daughter, and I’m sure everyone’s views are just kept to themselves. Maybe they were both wrong for each other at the time, but they both suffered, and Bob Geldof punished them both. The whole family has suffered. It’s time to let Michael, Paula, and Peaches completely rest in peace and stop the blame game.

Bob geldof is a rotten man. He killed the both of them. He put Micheal Hutchinson through so much depression. He took his child and raised her as his own. You would think oh that great, but it's not what Micheal wanted and he didn't stand a chance. Micheals family have nothing to do with Tiger lily because of her narrcisstic step father. He tries to control them. He didn't even let Tiger lily go to Micheals mother's funeral. Who is her grandmother. Don't fall for his martyr persona. Hes a fully fledged narrcissist.

I’m certain Michael was very enamoured with Paula, but I don’t think that he was in any fit state to be contemplating a serious relationship or fatherhood. And I think that Paula was very naïve in thinking that she could toss Bob out and bring Michael in and make her perfect little family and Bob wouldn’t object to losing his home and his wife and his daughters to another man. The sad thing really is that Paula rather than being a stabilising influence on Michael threw herself wholeheartedly into the sex and drugs and rock and roll, when Michael was so lost, and got so lost, and even without all the stress of the Geldof’s woes, I think that Michael was headed to his tragic demise anyway, Paula just hastened it along.

@@memoresto3480 Exactly. Read her biography and what Robbe willams said about her. She started Heroin at age 12. Part of Paula's "allure" was that she could offer her many affairs drugs. As for Hutchence - after he passed, friends noted in articles and biographies lke Lovegrove's that Michael rarely did drugs after his head injury due to having to take a lot of prescription meds. In an old TV Weekly mag with the cover story "Michael Hutchence Slams Heroin Use: "Its a one way road" he says "to me heroin is the scorge of it all. His concerned mom even recorded this for the pollce who had to do a welfare check on Paula. And it as hardly a love story - at the time of his death, MH was planning to leave Paula & dating a girl named Erin. It's difficult being a woman, men leave their wives and children all the time and start new lives. Perhaps Paula should have had an affair with Michael and got him out of her system, the physical side does not last forever. Also, it is well documented that Micheal was not into marriage.. Bob Geldof could not bear to lose her and take his children to Australia, It was a very complex situation. It is clear to see from that interview why Bob still loved Paula and he states that very clearly in a recent interview. He said she was all the things he wasn't, and that he needed that in his life. It is very difficult when someone loves you too much, as it should be possible for a woman to be free and walk away if that is what someone wants. Depuis que Paula s'est introduite dans la vie de Michael, les malheurs se sont succédés et ont abouti par la suite à la déchéance de notre star. Elle avait beaucoup de problèmes avec son ex mari concernant la tutelle de ses enfants.

I truly comprehend her "side"..I was her for 7yrs..I left my husband, put my 2 kids second, was a messy divorce, BUT.. because, I "feel like" I was in her shoes, I Know this would never last. It was just PURE animal sex attraction & you go nuts trying to keep him, you do things that you would never do before, etc..That beautiful man could not be "kept"..This lady paid the price to think all would be well..she's dead, he's dead, her poor kids dead, their kid together has to have problems, Sir bobs life went to hell, the list goes on & on, but sorry God never sleeps, so those left here from this trainwreck pay the price?
