Thanks so much for the video. I tried it and got it to work successfully on mine. I got the 23mm long LEDs, in blue color. I had to use a 3/8" drilll on the plastic base so the LED could fit properly into it. Then I removed the little plastic lens that comes on top of the LED so that I would not have to grind the base, which takes more patience and tools than I have. It worked well and looks nice. It is more purple than blue, but I like the look. Yay! I have a Delica logo!

Damn! I was too nervous to remove the lens parts because I didn't want to destroy the LED. That sounds like a better way of doing it!

Was the original bulb actually replaceable or was it kinda potted/glued into (part of) the housing with all that white stuff you dug it out of? I couldn't tell exactly but @11:11 where you pushed it out it kinda looks like one of those wedge base (194 or W5W?) type bulbs like you find illuminating dashboards etc. Thanks very much for posting this up here. Very informative. Will be tackling fixing my currently illumated "ICA" one of these days. BTW I'd suggest maybe carefully sticking the red hose on a wd40 can between the panel and door and carefully spraying each plastic clip with a *very, very small* amount to help them pop out of the door (very small amount so as not to turn the cardboard to pulp).

So were the led light you bought green or the letters on the delica are already green and just need a white light to shine through?

VanderBosch do you have other online shops that has delica parts to buy?
@vanderbosch478

@@genarchdesign Sorry I misunderstood your previous comment. I use MegaZip.net to get my partnumbers. I then use amayama.com to order the parts. I have also used some canada based stores such as ccautos.ca. For discontinued parts I usually resort to ordering used parts from ebay. If you need anymore information let me know!

@@frankearth9786 I believe the decals came on the Delica from the factory. The Chamonix models were more winter focused with thicker carpets/insulation and dual batteries. They even had bigger alternators! You can find the Mitsubishi part numbers for the decals through megazip, however, I don't know if they are still available. I've taken pictures/measurements of mine since they are starting to fade just in case I need to get them made in the future.
