I was a 13 year old groomsman at Dresden Raceway. The trainer I was working for was shooting the breeze with a trainer that had just pulled in with the nicest trailer rig i had ever seen at the time. He gives me a nod and says go up that ramp and see the horse in there. Walk up, pet the horse, grab the halter and seen the nameplate that read Artsplace. I was on cloud nine for a week after that.

I know Tom Durkin annonced until 1990. I know Sam McKee took over in 1998. Not remembering who announced from 1990 to 1998.

This was a case of big ego, and why give up that 5% and maybe get a nice drivers fee in a $75k race..I put him in same class as Richie Silverman. Wojicio usually worked with @Driver Joe Schwind
