How I remember this game! Typical Halloween night weather to, cold, windy, wet and Miserable! This also was the beginning of the end of the Bears dominance over the Packers.

I was 11 when this game was played, and I remember it vividly. Definitely remains one of my all-time favorite Packer games. Doesn’t get quite the billing as some others, but it was just epic. Much like the “Mud Bowl” between the Packers and the 49ers was an epic game.

This was the game that truly began GB's run of dominance vs. the Bears. Outside of a 1989 sweep, CHI had owned the Packers from 1984-1991 losing only one game in the other 7 years. In Favre's first two years, CHI and GB actually split their games in 1992-1993 and the Bears had scored 3 defensive touchdowns vs. GB in December '93 at Soldier Field. This began a stretch of 11 straight wins for Favre at Soldier Field, GB didn't lose to them period until November 1999, and lost only 3 times period from 1994-2004.

For the Packers fans, this sums it up as part of football's greatest rivalry and most especially for me as a Bears fan. But for other Bears fans, it's not considered a rivalry at all. It is called a domination. But hey, sometimes a domination in football must happen on occasion.

I always remembered this as the same game that the Bears' fan jumped out of the stands to catch the field goal in mid-air, but I was wrong. That was the MNF game the following year.

I was in Sicily watching this game live (it was early morning there) - remarking how they played in that weather like two titans duking it out in a tsunami. After enjoying a Packer win, I enjoyed a sunny 70 degree Mediterranean breakfast. I loved the 90s

I remember listening to this game while sitting in the rain at O'Hare waiting to pick up my wife after a flight from NYC. Her flight was delayed of course so I was able to hear the entire broadcast of Wayne Larrivee who was the Bears play by play at the time. Couldn't pick up WTMJ in Milwaukee. Larrivee was so disgusted with the Bears that night. Lol. What a great night for the Pack.

I was at this game. I went with my dad to this game when I was 18. The weather was miserable. I don't mind games in the cold or snow, but this was bad! We left at halftime confident the Packers were going to win this because they were up 14-0 and they did not disappoint!

@@scoobycarr5558 Die hard Packers fans both of us. My dad worked at Abbott Labs in Illinois from about 1983 to 1999 until he had to retire due to cancer. He had to take a lot of crap in the 80's but dished it out in the 90's. Despite the weather, we actually tailgated with some of his co-workers. We had chili, steak, and wine. Of course, trying to eat in that weather was miserable because we had to eat that fast before it got waterlogged. We left just as Gale Sayers and Dick Butkus were getting their numbers retired. We sat in one of the back rows dealing with a couple of Bears fans with 'Fuck Green Bay' t-shirts and they were shouting that all game long. We also went to that Packers-Bears game in 1997 when the Bears went for the two point conversion and missed and lost the game. I remember that play vividly because I was thinking 'Why the hell did they take Curtis Conway out of that play?' before the play started and 'If they going to use Raymont Harris, why didn't they run him up the middle instead of having him go out for a pass?' after it ended because I remember him killing us that day. Stay safe too!
