Back in '94, I was fresh outta college, and working at this dealership in PA, called Ertley Motorworld. I'm outside, and the owner, Ron Ertley, pulls up in a new NSX. He sees me gushing over it, throws me the keys, says, "have fun, but don't be out too long." I'll never forget that day! However......it was an AUTO. 🤷🏻♂️

The 1993 40th anniversary Corvette did 0 to 60 quicker, had a higher top speed and cost half as much. A much better value in performance and the Corvette is still around. It's amazing how many foreign car companies thru the decades tried to match the Corvettes performance value but could not and have vanished from the market place. Of course now the Corvette is NOT a good performace value like it once was.

the DC2 integra is such a great car, amazing how many people enjoyed those cars in the 90s and then kicked them to the curb for RWD cars, I love RWD cars, but have a soft spot for that gen Integra and Civic 2 door hatchbacks. the NSX is a fantastic car, but the worst part about it is when they bastardized it by offering it in targa top. took an absolutely fantastic chassis and killed the rigidity. great car though.
@gxdjoeybaby07
4 жыл бұрын
You make a very good point. One of the improvements that AS suggested was stiffening the chassis, so I wonder how "good" it was before that. Also, in one of the early Car&Driver or Road&Track articles, Honda said they wouldn't do a targa version because it would degrade the chassis stiffness and refinement. A few years later, and we know what happened. =(

The Lowe's car ran well today, we couldn't have done it without the Lowe's car, oh did I mention the car is sponsored by Lowe's etc. Got people running up behind you switching your hat to another one while you're trying to talk.
