The legendary Ford Bronco was first conceived in 1966 as the first SUV for the Ford Motor Company with the nameplate running five generations continuously for 30 years between 1966 - 1996. After a 25-year hiatus, the Bronco made a comeback for its sixth generation beginning with the 2021 model year. Every single Bronco has been built at the Michigan Truck Assembly plant in Wayne, Michigan and continues to produce the sixth generation. The fifth generation hit the market for the 1992 model year and ran through 1996 when the Bronco was discontinued on June 12th, 1996. It followed the design work of the ninth generation F-150 and for the first time included standard power windows, 4-wheel ABS brakes, and additional crash safety measures.

It was sold new at Lou Grubb Ford of Scottsdale, Arizona and is 1 of 1,309 Eddie Bauer Broncos produced for 1996 in Oxford White over Medium Mocha leather bucket seats. It is factory equipped with the range-topping 5.8L V8 engine producing 205hp and 328 lb. ft. of torque mated to a 4-speed automatic overdrive transmission with a 3.55 limited slip rear axle. It is optionally equipped with the Eddie Bauer package, luxury group package, convenience group package, handling package, and trailer tow package. Notable features included 15" forged aluminum wheels, cruise control, tilt steering column, HD cooling, automatic locking hubs, remote keyless entry, and swing away spare tire. Per the original window sticker, it was delivered with an as new MSRP of $32,295.
This example was sold new at Lou Grubb Ford in Scottsdale, Arizona on 2/7/1996 to a gentleman from Wayne, New Jersey who kept this Bronco at his vacation home in Scottsdale. He retained it for the next 26 years until it was acquired by a dealer in Grand Rapids, Michigan on 4/26/2022 with a reported 22,160 miles. On 7/22/2022 it was purchased by its second registered owner by a gentleman from Bloomfield Hills, Michigan with a reported 22,584 miles. We purchased it from the second owner on 10/14/2022 with 22,647 miles and today it is offered with 22,666 miles.
Hailing from the dry Arizona climate, garaged when not in use, and having been driven on average of just 871 miles per year over 26 years has preserved this example. It is in fantastic all original condition with original paint, interior, and undercarriage with no modifications. It is up to date on service and has new 2022 date coded Cooper Discoverer AT3 tires in factory size, additionally, the original Goodyear Wrangler RT/S spare tire and wheel are still affixed to the spare tire carrier.
