Switzer was pure box office the perfect Cowboys coach. Dallas was so reliant on Irvin in 96'. 9-2 with him and 2-3 without him. When he got hurt they were going to need the defense to hold Carolina to 14 points or under. The D played well but couldn't force FG's a couple of times which was crucial.

Cowboys fan for life. I hated watching this game for many reasons but I have to give credit to Carolinas Defense in this game. They played great albeit against an in injury depleted Cowboys team, I remember having this feeling going into this game thinking Carolina is better than we think. This is definitely a great game for an expansion team to win I'm the playoffs. The main reason I hated this game is cuz it ended Michael Irvins career and the dynasty. But hat's off to Carolina for a great victory.

I think we need no more AFC NFC crap, that should've went out clear back in 74. the North South East and West. And move Dallas to the southern conference. 9 teams per division.
