If you ever need to drill through steel... you’re better off getting cobalt bits. They’re specifically for hardened steel. Titanium is good for general purpose and soft metals. Just an FYI.

I appreciate the tip, I did this project before I new about the different styles of dill bits. I saw the cheapest set that looked quality and went for it. This was more of a why not project and unfortunately my lack of doing any type of research cost me my time 😂😂

Did water leak though the top when you washed ur car?

Water only leaked through the top of the weather stripping when going through a carwash with those high pressure jets. If you raise the door back up to factory by eliminating slop in these joints it should eliminate the leakage.

@@stevo1977 wow that's exactly what's happening with mine right now lol. Bc I checked the welds and the weather stripping and they looked fine. But it's hard to tell with the door bolt

@@ky0611 the easiest way to see if the pins are bad is to fully open your door and grab the bottom of the door and try and lift up on the door if you hear a clicking or if you can feel slop you need pins have someone else move the door up and down and look to see if its only one pin or both pins. The top pin is easier than the bottom.
