It's crazy how NASCAR didn't throw a caution quicker when Ward Burton stopped on the access road. If that happened today, they wouldn't have waited 3 seconds to throw the caution. I like how they let the pit stops play out before they threw it.

The size of that crowd is so crazy compared to what it is now. It's sad to see how much it's declined. I remember how excited I use to get for racedays back then. I quit watching after the dover race in may of 2018. Just isn't fun to watch anymore.

I've never understood why they insist on giving lap speed rather than lap time.

@@daviclar867 I'm an average race fan, and lap speed is meaningless to me. I would prefer to know how long it took someone to do a lap. I would also rather know the gap between cars as a measure of time rather than speed, or the less than exact "car lengths".
