Agree 2k to 5k is how many % in between. I think this company is the problem. Cannot blame the interviewer cause I also choose I want 5k. Where to find people say I just want 2k this people you want to employ??????? Idiot company with stupid employment policy.

Most probably this young man’s is currently employed by his parents and drawing good salary, however he might not like the close supervision from his parents and want to change his environment. It’s good for him to face the real world outside😊
Young people need career counselling or guidance which is lacking. Tertiary education should have this form of support. The other way to count is based on working as part time during school holidays. Normally it is based on per hour or day salary.

For me I think is the productivity not the age that count. If you are able to earn big income (10 times your salary) for the company, well it’s okay to pay.
🤣🤣🤣my son worked with a China-based company in Bintulu as a technician, basic salary of only rm2.5 k.. + overtime+on call, not more than RM5K... 🤣🤣then resigned now working in Kuching the wages shui shut liao🤣🤣
Should be able to make sales(revenue) of 50k & with a profit margin of 10%(5k) to cover that salary. Not a profit margin of 50k....... But maybe cannot simply calculate that way to determine the salary's responsibility. Revenue 50k, profit margin 10%(5k), the total cost is 45k, and the salary of 5k is only 11% of the total cost. So, cannot ask the 11% cost portion (in this case is the salary) to bear the whole responsibility of 50k revenue.
