I wanted a Tundra to put in a pop up camper (4wheel camper type) and use as a baja truck but i ended up with a 2002 Sequoia 4wd. No regrets, its comforable to drive, has more than enough space for all my camping gear and surfboards, i can sleep comfortably inside, i love the awd option, the rear window and that i have so much space to put stuff in the front cabin although i do kind of hate the gas mialege but i knew what i was getting into when i bought it.

All men are guilty of sin. Repentance means to turn away from your sin. For example, if you are a liar you stop lying. Repenting is not just saying sorry, it is saying sorry and not continuing to do that sin. Sin is what separates us from God. God sent his son Jesus to die for our sins. Meaning Jesus took the punishment for our sins on the cross. If we believe on Jesus our sins can be washed away, and God will remember them no more. If we reject the son of God and continue in sin we will be under Gods wrath(hell fire). Repent today and believe on Jesus Christ, and recieve the free gift of eternal life.

I had a Tundra with a camper but a Sequoia would be better because you can sleep in the back with emergency HVAC if needed. I’ve camped in too many times where the wind with take your tent airborne. Your gear stays cleaner too because the OEM door seals vs tailgate holes/camper seal letting in all that trail dust.

The center diff lock also disables the traction control against sliding. For example when its off and your in 4 hi if you start sliding sliding it engages the brakes to straighten the vehicle. It also momentary cuts engine power. With the dif lock is on this feature is disabled, allowing drifting if desired. But more importantly not cutting power when in deep snow or mud.

It's going to be amazing it's a 2005 Toyota Sequoia limited Ash Gray I will be the first person to have flared fenders in the rear that were actually made for the Sequoia off-road company is working hand-in-hand with a fiberglass company that is making this Fender and I will be the first one to have it and they're going to use my vehicle to advertise it so now Sequoia will have their own flared fenders instead of having to borrow from the tundra that's why everybody has only gotten the front fenders flared and I have no idea why I just wrote you a big long-winded book LOL

Towing capacity is underrated ive towed over 7,000lbs with 0 issues on my 03 sequoia
@mytakamineis
3 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I've realized that depending on where you live, towing capacity limits can seem more or less meaningful. Here in Florida everything is flat but towing thru the mountains in other parts of the county is a different beast. I would never recommend towing above the rating because if anything goes wrong you can face the liability of negligence. If you watch what they do with Toyota trucks in 3rd world countries you start to understand that there is a wide gap between what you "can do" and what you "should do".
@Baebon6259

does the 03 sequoia rated to tow over 7k lbs by the manufacturer? If it doesn't then you are dabbling in the region where cops can put you in jail if you ended up in an accident while towing regardless of who is at fault.

Timing belt obviously, ball joints, and oil changes, and that sequoia will last you forever. Prices have gone up considerably. The rear hatch handle will break, not an if just when, easier to replace if you do it beforehand and replace it with a metal one. The front steering rack at 200k is a good bet. I have an 05 with 250k that is now my sons and expect to get at least an extra 200 out of it. The same drivetrain in my 07 470 and expect to keep that one forever, only 100k currently.

Don’t know much about cars but is a 2002 Sequoia Limited 4WD all stock in black 240k miles for 4k a good deal? Interior also looks good beside ripped driver seat (not too bad) This is what he said about relatively recent maintenance on it has been. Clean title, frame is good little to no rust, CA vehicle. “Timing belt and water pump done at 210k with asian parts. New brakes front and rear. New starter on thanks giving (2020). If it has good oil change records over the course of its life I would say that's probably not a bad purchase. Most Service records should show up on a Carfax report. Ideally it would have 48 oil change records (every 5k) but that's probably not realistic. I'd probably be comfortable with somewhere around 25 oil change records. These days its hard to find a good reliable vehicle for 4k and I don't think that the sequoia will loose much value over the next few years. It sounds like a solid deal from what you have said.

Most of these vehicles have had a recall for corrosion. Most vehicles where treated with a chemical to prevent rust, other vehicles with enough rust damage had the complete frames and springs replace by toyota.
