There is a sticker on the right side with him connections are it tells you which one connects to the high flow and which one connects to the low flow and when you get inside the cab you have to hit the auxiliary button they'll come up green on the screen and then push down on it and hold it for 5 seconds give or take in the green light will start blinking now you're in high flow

Basically your machine is just the opposite of a land plane, instead in the back it's in the front position. Plus rotation system.

I respect grader operators. It’s an art. I’ve got 25 years of Harley raking in at this point. Never have a problem cutting potholes out and grading perfectly smooth. Check out our topsoil vids

As an ex blade operator, if you don't ripp material to bottom of pot hole, the pot will just return eventually. Plus I don't believe you can achieve a smoth even grade, without a motor grader period.

Make sure that rake is rated for High Flow. That surging may be to much flow over whelming the motor on the rake. The rake should have flow numbers stamped right on it

The fittings don't matter they are the same flow rate fed from the same supply pipes.

You should be able to set the flow rate for the aux in the computer for that machine. Thats true with their mini excavators at least not sure on the CTL.

Check out page 70 and 71 of your operation manual, it will talk about how to se the maximum flow volume. Check those reading, I forget how they come set from the factory but it allows you to fine tune it a little more. And yes, the same hydraulic pipe feeds the couplers from the pump, the thought behind the larger couplers is to dissipate heat a little better during high flow operation, its kind of a joke though. If you want to see something interesting hit those couplers with a thermo gun after they have been running an attachment for a while. Screw together Stucci connectors work great for very high flow applications. Good luck with it!

Don’t know how the 95/97s are set up but I do know on my 75-2 the fitting size doesn’t matter but high flow comes out the male into the female side. Sounds like the rake may plumbed wrong if this is the case on the 95/97s. Hope I didn’t confuse you even more.

Lol. I read specs tonight and the 97 puts out a bit more than the max the cat rake can handle at full throttle

That’s backwards. The top is standard flow and the bottom is high. My Harley Rake surges on regular flow but you can back down the flow on the menu

Yeah, not sure why it surges being the gpm on the Harley rake is rated for more than the low flow gpm on the 97. My salesman said he’s seen this quite a few times 🤷♂️

If you watch my other videos, you will see I normally run the rake on a 259 but sold my problematic one. I have a new one on order and it will be here in the spring. So that machine will probably never run it again anyway

you want to be careful switching attachments between equipment, especially since you had trouble with the car blowing a hydraulic pump you could contaminate the fluid in the Kabota
@VTOutdoorServices

While I agree, the cat was flushed for 2 days using their hydraulic fluid dialysis machine until it was cleaned to Cat spec. So I wasn’t worried.

Catapillar uses a different hydraulic oil than Kubota. Not to mention you can filter out all the contaminants doesn’t mean that the fluid that’s left in the attachment is not filtered
