First position blues sounds pretty good when you do it.

GREAT lesson Ronnie! Lot's of fun and there is just something so relaxing about playing the key of G harmonica. It's the harp that says no matter what's going on in your life, everything is gonna be alright! :)

1st pos. clinic simply presented in my favorite method, ( only one I've seen) by ear. I, like you, have no formal musical instruction so feeling one's way through along w/ some oral tablature fits like a glove for me. Thanks Ronnie. Stoked.

Very nice! It’s so easy to get stuck at the top end. I learned a nice run from Charlie Musselwhite which links from 9blow to 1blow. One of the best moments in my 1st position journey 😎 Cheers!

Ronnie Shellist Here is the lick (I’m sure you know it), but it may be of use to other students 😃 I play it in triplets, apart from the final note, 123/123/123/123/1. 9b 9b bend 8b - 7b 6b 5d - 5b 4b 3d - 2d 2d double bend 2b - 1b I try to play it ascending too, but descending it’s really useful when returning to the I chord. Kind regards from Madrid.

Hi Ronnie, I love your videos and the material of your website. First and third position help us to keep on practicing and improving our skills. So, thank you very much. I would like to ask you for blues songs in first position which we can use as inspiration. I only know one from James Cotton and another from Jimmy Reed, but I would like to have more songs in first position to listen and analyze it. Thank you very much again. Kind regards.
