For the amount you’d have to pay for these, I’d recommend Energizer lithium AAAs, since these items are a “store ‘em and forget ‘em” thing. They don’t leak and last longer. Good video. 👍

I think an improvement would be to join them on a small rope. Like a fast deploy. Pull the rope and they automatically space themselves out.

Just don't let them out of your sight. I used a similar product after an accident that happened in front of my parent's house and someone picked it up and drove off with it after the disabled vehicle was towed.

Another survival skill which I have done is to continue driving down the road with the flat or smoking engine (over heating) whatever the case... I don’t just pull over randomly for stupid 💩like a flat tire or popped one or whatever, if the vehicle will keep moving I will drive it ! I drive on it till am in a safe area to get out of the vehicle to change tire or get help with a tow truck & that’s what I’d did before this age of cellphones 📱 we have now.

Remember when placing these out it's a good idea to put 1 out front the rest in the rear spaced out. 10, 25, 50, 100 ft. etc..

Wonder why in trucking we can not start using these and do away with the dang triangles. No one pays attention to our triangles and runs them over anyhow. It's like a target for them. Can these be ran over and not damaged? Will they hold up for it?

Just how many did the they send you? They come in threes the idea being the DOT requires three Reflective Triangles maybe someone can contact DOT and see if these are Actually DOT Compliant and if they meet the requirements of DOT Commercial trucks.

Very Nice. You wouldn't happen to have a new link for the 4 pod 6 leds per pod light bar you have in the back window of your Rouge would you? the ones listed on both of your videos are outdated and lead to other lights.

I bought these and had them in my trunk for long time now. Someone sideswiped me during the day and we were stopped right after bend of curvy road. After the second car came close to hitting us I remembered these in my trunk. Bad news. They are not visible in daylight.

Matthew Martin I would recommend just getting the original flame kind. I know there is a white strobe tri pod that works. I believe police use them. But for sake of ease and not have to care about on the the side of the road. Stick with flame type.

Would something like this be useful on the back on a tractor or side by side when working roadside fences, picking up trash, etc as it starts to get dark but the work isn't quite done?? Any comments on that?

Nice review. If you have the opportunity, can you review the garage monkey brand of led flares? They are less expensive than these on amazon and come with one more flare, for a total of four. I wonder if it’s because they aren’t as bright or durable. It would be great if the manufacturer is able to make a comparable product and sell it at a lower price point. I’m hoping it’s the latter. Also, the track you have playing in the background is 🔥. 👍🏾👌🏾

HAHAHAHA! $70 for something that takes about $5 to manufacture. FORGET IT. A rotating flash pattern is great for disco lighting and the tops of emergency vehicles, but a joke for road flares. Omni-directional flash is more than enough, especially since you're really only going to be concerned with the single direction that cars are approaching you from. You can get omnidirectional LED road flares, in a traditional road flare form-factor at Home Depot $18 for 3. I keep a two pack in my car, along with half a dozen sulfur flares, just in case. TIP: If you ever happen upon an accident before the police arrive and set out your own sulfur flares, if you stick around for a few minutes after the police show up and get control, to ask an officer for some of their flares to replace what you've used, we'll usually always have way more than enough and be more than happy to oblige. Just, try and ask as we're popping the trunk and pulling out our own flares to lay a pattern, or wait until we don't have our hands full.
