In a fascinating observation opportunity for wildlife researchers, two lion brothers successfully completed a record-breaking swim across a predator-infested river.
On Feb. 1, two lions crossed the crocodile Kazinga Channel in Uganda in what was the longest swim ever documented, and happened to be captured on camera.
A study on the swim was co-led and documented by Griffith University and Northern Arizona University, under the supervision of the Uganda wildlife authority.
Lexy Benedict reports.
