I’m 70 with brain damage from birth . It took a long time to learn the Aleph Beit . My mind can remember pictures better than letters and so I learned the Paleo Hebrew to understand the Babylonian block Hebrew. Why learn Hebrew ? , even the KJV of the Tanach is in a few places different from the Hebrew . This is the first written alphabet known to mankind , ah history . How else can we unravel the mysteries of the greatest writing given to the people .

Rabbi Munk who wrote, Wisdom in the Hebrew Alphabet, tells us that the modern Torah is written in Assyrian. An etymological search on Assyrian reveals that they're called Asuraye and Atoraye; in line with two ways of pronouncing the letter Tau; they can both be spelled with the exact same letters. Do you see Suryah and Torah in there? Surya is the name of the sun in Sanskrit, and Asura is the name of the Assyrians in Sanskrit. Shin was the god of Ur. Shin was Shiva, a name that pops up pretty often in Jewish religion too; and that's why so many different alephbets use a Shiva trident to represent S or SH sounds. Aruna is another way of spelling Arjuna, Abram means "Not a Brahman in Sanskrit; the word s godhead, Born Again and the tradition of baptisms come from Vedic literature. Jesse (the root of Jesus) was more than 3/4 Gentile, and Acts 15:14-15 says, ...God at the first did visit the Gentiles to take out of them a people for his name, and to this agree the words of the prophets; as it is written. Linguists teach that all of our words were originally names for the sun as the shekina of God, therefore every proper etymology reaches the sun... The Bavishya Purana has the beginning of the Torah in it... If the Torah doesn't have roots in Sanskrit, please show us how the word Torah means sun in Hebrew.

Shalem was the dusk and Sahar his brother was the dawn. Here's an old saying Jesus refered to... Red sky at morning, sailor take warning. Red sky at night, sailor's delight. UruShalem is a "Red sky at night, sailors delight;" and that's why Shalom means peace. Shalom to you too

@@Solideogloria00 Yes. It's creation from nothing. The opposing viewpoint is that nothing comes from nothing. If you read Genesis 1, God existed at the beginning and so did the spirit hovering over the water, along with the water and the land that's separated out of it. God is a consuming fire and spirit is said to be wind. That means fire, air, earth and water were all in existence at the start. These happen to be the elements of creation according to many ancient cultures. The point is, it wasn't creation from nothing.

Notice Genesis 1:2 states "now, the earth was formless and void and darkness was present". However, Isaiah states that in barashit (Genesis 1:1), the earth was NOT formless and boid and in darkness. Which means the fall happened in Genesis 1:2, and not Genesis 1:1. Barashit can mean FIRST. The FIRST day. Genesis 1:2 says "day one", or yom echad in hebrew. In hebrew counting, FIRST is ordinal, used for ordering. Echad is cardinal. Used for counting AFTER an ordering has been made. Genesis 1:1 and Genesis 1:2 are two seperate days. Genesis 1:1 was new moon day, the day or ordering in hebrew. Genesis 1:2 was the first work day, day one of a counting, a counting of sevens, to the 7th day sabbaths
@-kepha8828
Жыл бұрын
(yom echad, “one day”) should not be read as though it were the “first day”, as the use of yom echad elsewhere in Genesis demonstrate (Genesis 27:45, Genesis 33:13, 1 Samuel 27:1, Isiah 9:13, Jonah 3:4). Rabi Umberto Cassuto’s explanation is worthy of note: “There was only one day for the second had not yet been created? Why would the writer of Genesis have avoided the use of “yom rison (first day)” in this chapter of Genesis?” Cassuto says there are two possible solutions… 1st: The grammatical construction of Genesis 1 allows potentially for the two “first days” at the beginning of the chapter. The day that begins in verse 3 “and there was light” - and the day that may appear to begin in verse 1 “beresit”, in the beginning. In this conception of the narrative of chapter 1, the author of Genesis may have wanted to avoid the idea that the day that begins in verse 3 was actually “yom rison (the first day)”. He may have wanted to reserve the notion of “the first day” for the day that begins with “beresit”, in the beginning, in verse 1. Thus yom echad was used to avoid the misconception. In the same way the author does not say “hannahar harison (the first river)” in Genesis 2:11, but rather “ha echad (one river)”, because the first river that divides into four heads has already been mentioned. 2nd: A second possible reason for avoiding the mention of a “first day” is that throughout the Torah the expression “yom rison” is used to denote the ‘first day” of a special feast, a day in which there is to be no work (example: Exodus 12:16, Leviticus 23:7, 35, 39, Numbers 28:18). The use of “yom echad” may have been intended to avoid a possible objection to the work of YHWY on one such “yom rison” in chapter 1. So this “yom rison (the first day)” that preceded “yom echad (day one)”, had to be a special feast of no work in the hebrew languages explanation often overlooked in the English translations. We can determine that yom risen, a special feast, is new moon day in the beginning of the creation account, and yom echad (meaning day one) is day one of the work week. The day of the new moon is always outside of the work week. Ezekiel 46 and Amos 8 tell us that new moon day CANNOT be on any of the 6 work days. It also tells us new moon day CANNOT be on the 7th day sabbath. This means that new moon day is a 3rd category of day, outside of the week, for God commanded new moon day to be the very beginning of every month, then after new moon day the 6 days of work can start followed by a 7th day sabbath. This pattern continues until the new new moon day at conjunction, where the week becomes reset with the new month.

@megabytes6434

it's a transliteration of the "vav" or "waw" letter in Hebrew. In modern Hebrew it makes a "v" sound but it is believed that in ancient Hebrew it made a "w" sound hence why they put YHWH as YHVH, same name and spelling but different pronunciation.
