Please, please don't keep us in suspense! Selling Mirool is a real game changer, but we haven't a clue what you are up to next. So here are some of my predictions. They are totally unfounded as I have no special connection with Troy or Pascale other than as a very appreciative patron. (Friends I have yet to meet!) 1. You are going to announce an engagement or marriage date 2. You have decided to explore a different lifestyle, maybe even shore based. 3. You have eyes on a more spacious yacht that will make long range sailing more comfortable 4. You are going to start a business in skills acquisition for sailing and yacht maintenance coupled with provisioning and cooking for blue water yachts. But I imagine most followers will be expecting you are going for the 3rd option. After all, 7/5 years living without a hot shower or freezer is demanding to say the least. What ever you are up to, my very best wishes to you both for a successful and productive outcome!

All good things come to an end. You guys have been my favourite sailing couple, because you are real & relatable. An older Clansman is within my reach if I ever plucked up the courage to do what you have done. There have been several other sailing couples on KZitem who have upgraded to fancy pants big dollar catamarans & the like & I have lost interest, because I can no longer relate to them. I understand that bigger yachts have more creature comforts, but remember why you are loved, you are real & we can dream about & relate to your adventures. @@saylaveenadmearedead judging by your response you’ve missed some important episodes and you’d definitely hate Saillife with Mads and Ava. Given that you’re part of a minority who abhor “talking heads” and ‘boatyard videos” what is freaking weird is that you think we would all benefit by you telling us….. as for all the effort expended and then selling Mirool being “freaking weird” let’s consider a couple of factors. Troy and Pascale had to cross Bass Strait and as it is a dangerous crossing effort had to be made to make Mirool safer, secondly do you seriously think everyone has their future mapped out for the next decade, they improved the value of Mirool and made her safer then decided to sell her, so they decided to upgrade, big deal. I had identical responses when I built from scratch a 460 sq m netted orchard which took me a year and a few weeks after selling an opportunity arose to move 1,800km north to the sub tropics and buy a house 5 min walk to the beach. Everyone said how could you leave all that work behind? What they did not say is “wow, an opportunity arose that you couldn’t refuse and you took it, well done.” In the last 8 months our new house has jumped $80,000 in value. Troy and Pascale may have had the same opportunity and jumped at it. They have no regrets and can sleep knowing that they are passing on a boat that is better than when it was bought.

Guys like that can't understand that we might invest our own money to ensure this yacht lives for another 50 years according to our values and to someone else's happiness. They are central to their own thinking and pretty selfish. Don't waste time on them, we don't.
