Been watching your Ronin videos for a while athilith and they inspired me to build up a collection of figures, terrain and buildings for playing Ronin myself. I've since painted up about 35 minis from Perry, and the Sohei Buntai box from North Star for the game, and I have a combination of John Jenkins and 4Ground's beautiful Japanese buildings for the game. I wouldn't have gotten into the game if it wasn't for your videos, so thank you for posting them. Having said that, I'd really like to see you post more Ronin batrep videos. Not many people know about this game and sharing your videos with my friends has helped them grow an interest in it as well as spreading the word in general about the game. Anyway, I do hope you plan on maybe rebooting your Ronin series and posting more batreps of your games when you can. Thanks again athilith. Cheers.

+Paul D Wow, Paul, that sounds like a great collection. It would be great to see your table and the minis! :) And I'm glad you found use of these videos- even though we got some rules wrong and maybe made some mistakes, but we did enjoy it and I'm glad you saw that. :) As for more videos- there is at least one more batrep coming but when it will be ready, I don't know. But not to give any false hope then I can't say when. Thank you very much for this nice comment. :) This is one of the reasons I make videos at all- to inspire others in the hobby. :) Cheers, Tristan.

Thank you Tristan, I'm watching your videos and they are very helpful! I have a question: do you prime your minis with an airbrush or with a normal spray can? Thanks! :)
@athilith
9 жыл бұрын
Matt Vigani :) Thanks mate. And no airbrush, I use a normal spray can. The trick is to never spray when it rains or is damp. Shake the can for 2 minutes, if it's a bit cold hold the can under hot water before you use it. And It'll work well. :) Don't own an airbrush, too expensive to get and maintaine. Maybe later when I graduate the uni and have settled in. :)

No problem mate. I think you will find your bandits will perform a bit better now. They will still suffer against the sword school one on one but ganging up on lone students or masters with two or more bandits will actually be a lot more effective then before.
