As noted, faster rotation (and the rubbing on the edge like that at the start), probably lost most of the delta. I'm going with about 30% longer, since humans likely can't spin it to the optimal speed by hand. I would bet that the time remains about the same from 5,000RPM downward, at about 13 minutes.

For those of you wandering, Yes, you can indeed kill someone with this if you can manage to launch this death bey blade at 20,000 RPM at the right angle into someone (with razor blades attatched).
@NearEDGE
2 жыл бұрын
Not with this thing. The velocity it's spinning at is irrelevant. When this makes contact with a perpendicular surface it will deflect off and crawl along the subject. Something spinning freely has no torque, just inertia, so when it makes contact with anything it will very quickly lose momentum relative to how much contact it has with the surface. Imagine if you spun a wheel at 20,000 rpm and then put it on the floor. It doesn't tear through the floor, it just rolls away. Same here.

I don't think he understanda how much energy can be put into a flywheel like this. There could easily be thousands of joules of energy held in that little spinning disk. To put this in perspective a 9mm bullet often used by police is about 2000 joules. This top could easily have that much or more energy in it as a flywheel. During his attempt to make a spinning top go really fast, Mr puzzle sneezed and send the spinning top, which was circling at 20.000 rounds per minute into the air.. It landed on the puzzled Mr Puzzles forehead, and because of its speed the spinning top quickly removed Mr Puzzles frown, eyebrows and nose, before digging in further to his tongue and brains. Verry cool video? What if it last less then 10 minutes? This could happen if normally when spon by hand the spinning top is staying in the middle. I am so curious what the result will be.
