I was at the Auburn-Nebraska game in 1982. I had heard people talking about this freshman Vincent Jackson dude. This was before the internet, College Game Day etc. Auburn was still in the rebuilding stage and they got man-handled by the Nebraska roid-huskers but not before Vincent became "BO" on one play. He took a pitch and swept to his left. He turned it upfield and headed straight for our section. We had the perfect view! To roid-huskers broke down to hit him low. The freshman hit the brakes inside the five, throwing his body into a somersault. He flew right over the DBs who were still grasping at air as Bo landed on his butt three yards deep in the end zone! The crowd went nuts. He got up, handed the ball to the ref and jogged to the sideline like nothing had happened. That was and is BO. I told my buddies we should probably keep an eye on this Vincent kid.

Imagine the discipline Bo grew up with. He was taught a young age and was heads n shoulders above the athletes around him. The ridicule he had to have heard about his speech impediment but yet he ignored them and pushed forward. That to me is above all else is his greatest quality. By 7th grade he would of beat the snot of the kids who made fun of him. But his mom or grandma wouldn't of allowed that. People forget Jim Thorpe was one hell of an athlete back in his day as well and he never got the respect he deserved. He was an all around athlete. I think because he was native that was held against him and you never did get the accolades or the respect he deserved. I think if Bo had stuck to football he'd had every record in the book for a RB. He was that good. It'll take one hell of a man to knock Bo off as the greatest athlete in my generation. I didn't care for Auburn. I'm an Iowa guy. And we all hate the Raiders. Im a Cowboys Fan !!But I loved George Brett n the Royals. Lol

05:13. Bo is stutterer. He was a very bad tempered kid because he lashed out at people who made fun of his stuttering. You can see his wife, telling him to slow down and breath before he answers with a hand signal. Great support from his wife and I am happy that he is described as a GOAT (Greatest of ALL Time). Though he didn't play in both games long enough. He deserves honorable mention in the Major Leagues and Football HOF.

Most talented athlete EVER. What a combination of speed, size, strength, and arm. He could have become the greatest NFL running back if not for the hip injury.

Greatest athlete, no disrespect deion Sanders, that we will ever see. Came back to baseball with a fake hip. And was still a great DH. If not for that injury, who knows what he might have accomplished.

Crazy to think he was only making 6 million a year between the NFL, MLB, NIKE, etc etc.. Today he is a $100 mill a year plus sports property.
