I think these are mythical creatures. If they were the apex predators as they're said to have been, how did they get extinct when they were at the top of the food chain?
@fenner203

I think mating would be the issue. These kind of creatures are usually alone and far from their kind, hence mating becomes difficult for them

If they say survival of the fittest, these animals could have easily survived. They can get food, protection, mating and everything. You couldn't even tamper with their ecosystem because who would wish to come near such beasts.
@HeatherOliver-oe6kb
Ай бұрын
They have existed, and have gone extinct. There is multiple reasons why animals have gone extinct. 1. Run out of food, it is hard for an animal that is at the top of the food chain when their food supply runs out and they are not big migraters well then they starve. 2. Climate change, or other natural disaster could easily wipe out an entire species hence ice age. Finally, 3. Evolution animals have shown to evolve to best avoid predators or even at times evolve into predators themselves.

The velociraptors in the Jurassic Park/World franchise were based off of deinonychus. The author of the Jurassic Park novel did that to make them seem more scary since velociraptor weren’t that big but they are still deadly. And some dinosaurs did have feathers like the velociraptor and deinonychus even the t rex had feathers as well. There was also a dinosaur with feathers in Dominion as well. Blue is also not a he Blue is a she.
