I cannot do these excercises. My upper body must be heavier than my lower body. Thus, my feet always end up in the air with my back on the ground.

Hey there! Thank you for sharing your experience with the 20-Minute Pilates Abs Workout. It's completely normal to face some challenges when starting a new exercise routine. Don't worry; we're here to help! If you find your feet lifting off the ground during the exercises, it could indicate that your core muscles need some strengthening. Here are a few tips to modify the exercises and make them more accessible: * Engage Your Core: Before starting any exercise, focus on engaging your core muscles. Imagine pulling your belly button towards your spine to create a stable foundation. * Bend Your Knees: During exercises like leg lifts or crunches, try bending your knees slightly. This can reduce the strain on your lower back and help you maintain contact with the ground. * Use Props: In the half roll down or roll down for example, you can try tucking your feet under the couch or bed. Or keep the hands on the floor during the seated single leg stretch to better stabilize yourself! * Start with Easier Exercises: If the current routine is challenging, consider starting with simpler abdominal exercises and gradually working your way up to more advanced moves. * Practice Breathing: Proper breathing is crucial in Pilates. Inhale deeply through your nose, filling your lungs, and exhale fully through your mouth, engaging your core during each exercise. Remember, progress takes time, and it's essential to listen to your body. Be patient with yourself, and don't be discouraged. Consistency is key, and with time and practice, you'll notice improvements in your strength and stability. Keep up the great work and remember, every small step counts towards your fitness journey! Is there any specific exercise I can still help you out with? Love to hear from you!
