Steve Hodel was my next door neighbor in the '60s in Laurel Canyon. His girlfriend/wife (I'm not sure jf they were married) was my mother's close friend. When his book , Black Dahlia Avenger, came out, I contacted him, and we exchanged several emails. I never knew him when he lived next door, but his mention of the woman he was with was startling, to say the least. Her life would have made quite a book in itself... His book was interesting, but really not conclusive.

13: 10 Okay, I groove on Studio-era Hollywood gossip too. One of my favorite books is E.J. Fleming's volume on MGM fixers Mannix and Strickland. I really don't care all that much with the likes of Clark Gable or Joan Crawford. But calling Vivien Leigh a 'nympho' is unnecessarily (and perhaps unintentionally) cruel. Nymphomania -- the term itself is outdated but describes a debilitating sexual obsession -- is something to be sympathized with, not exploited for a KZitem vid. My point is, use discretion. VL was already racked with bipolar disorder. Why beat her up with an unsubstantiated label like being a 'nympho.'
What's with the goofy censorship of the word "murder"?

Piper Laurie may have lost her virginity to Reagan, but a virgin doesn't know what to expect, so it's doubtful whether she liked sex with Reagan or not, that she'd have had the confidence to tell that to Reagan. She may have added that detail years later in an effort to sell her book, derail Reagan's political career, or tarnish his legacy. Reagan did admit to a long period of his life, that such one night stands ended up making him hate himself, leading him to change for the better, how he went about his life. Also, who knows, without losing her virginity to Reagan, Piper Laurie might not have delivered such an amazing performance in "Carrie" (1976)?

It just goes to show the extent people will go to just for money or fame. They’d destroy their morals, personalities, self respect, dignity, & many other things just for money & fame. No difference than what they are today. Back then as is today they’ll blame others for what choice they made. Everyone had a chance to refuse but they wants money & fame more so they went along with everything.

Now that I have been subjected to these two examples of miserable cliches, and heard quite early in your video, it's time to give this presentation a "Thumbs Down" and move on. I am continually annoyed with having to hear KZitem narrators think they are being so original with their narrative scripts, when, actually, they are sounding like they're reading from "everyone else's script!" I am going to suggest you use a thesaurus, that is a book of words that are similar, call synonyms, and quit being lazy and look up some more provocative, interesting, more original words to add a greater eloquence to your narrative.
