I have a Kleiber 2.5 ton flatbed truck built in San Francisco built at Folsom and eleventh street. Built 1929 and it has 4 wheel hydraulic brakes and low gearing built to handle the steep streets of the city. There are only about 10-15 known to exist anymore and about half of those run and drive

How about the LT Mack? Or the LJ Mack? They are pretty rare as well. Talk about a truck that defines an era. The R model Mack model comes to mind.

I've seen all these rigs, ridden in a lot of them, and driven a few. Interesting, but not that rare for a lot of your demographic. It's still worth seeing, just not that rare.

I was aware of all of them I just regret not getting to operate some of them like the B Model Mack & Autocars & Brockways when I started heavy truck driving out of All Driveing school 1987 the really cool trucks were all done & off the street but I drove a lot of White WG 64s and Sterling 9500s which replaced the Ford L 9000 s in 1998 when I started too many I H S series trucks & GMC Brigadiers you did not mention Hendricksons or Diamond Ts or Diamond REOs or Marmons hand built in Garland Texas

Nice video but they are saying the first Mack engine was in the B61. I have a 1951 A51 Mack with an original 310 Mack engine in it. When we were restoring it I contacted the Mack museum about it and they told me most were converted to gas engines because of the problems they had with the diesels at the time. And that truck is only known to be one of 4 they know to still exist.
