I stopped buying excess clothes, cosmetic, jewellery and unwanted stationery. And moreover after WFH situation, priorities has changed. Also stopped excess stuffing of items in fridge. Now it’s a planned week. difference with these cautious buying is more than owning them. Opps I just ordered kindle 😒 in this Amazon sale , its for a reason so no regrets. I still have to cut down on many things and your videos does motivate to take that step. Thanks Saloni….

Hey Saloni, loved the video - I have stopped all that you mentioned and a few more. Hope you read my comment and can adopt these if you find them logical too - 1) I stopped buying a lot of sauces from the stores- white pasta sauce , ginger garlic paste which I make at home now- first it’s more healthy and I am saving so much of packaging and trash over the years 2) big Birthday cakes - don’t want to consume so much after the celebration , just what’s needed for the two of us to consume and be done with it in a day or two 3 ) Watches, used to have hell lot of them of various brands designs, now just one smart watch 4) During the lockdown invested in an epilator and a brow trimmer so saving a lot on those tasks too 😊 I want to cut down on so many other things like food packaging , plastic bags , specially when I opt for deliveries etc but hasn’t been possible.

So glad to see an Indian KZitemr talk about minimalism! Personally, minimalism has helped me a lot in reducing my anxiety about getting things done in college, especially since I am still figuring out the adulting thing. Minimalism reduces a lot of extra work which frees up my time for things I really want to do. Totally relatable video🌠

Great content ! I hope more people join the minimalism train. I've been getting more and more into this lifestyle since over two years now and the value it has added to my life is immense. To add, One thing I stopped using is trash bags. I sometimes reuse grocery covers for wet waste or just dump it into a smaller bin that has a lid. And for dry waste,I put it directly into the bin. :)

Exactly that's how currently our society has tuned their minds too.. if inofsys founder and microsoft founder don't use a iphone and put up a normal clothing and normal watch they call it simplicity and humble down to earth etc.. however a commen public like you and me for a example earning 50k Society thinks we are miser if we don't have a iphone or costly watch. They name it miser . Basically the rich would be called as minimulist but a commen public would be called as a miser .! We should work on our priority irrespective of what society thinks on.

Un necessary food expenses like junk, processed food and aerated drinks which wastes money in par with ill health . Multiple things for a single work ( for example many ppl purchase knifes , cutters and etc when we've work only with one element of the above ) Purchasing unnecessary things during a sale , Having data connections when there's wifi ( it may be useful when we go out , but If a person spends most of the time at home , then it makes sense ) , unplanned trips , partying without any reason , movie theatres ( OTT is preferable coz we end up spending a lot when it comes to theatre for snacking, travelling etc )

I agree with you. Even I don't buy clothes and shoes online. I prefer to see and touch them and try them before buying. Even I use kindle app to read novels. And there are no show pieces in my room, I feel in the long run they just collect dust. If it's a vintage collection then maybe it's a good thing but otherwise I don't see any value in it. I am trying to incorporate conscious buying in every single thing that I buy. And I try to reuse things. I feel india should have more beauty companies which would allow us to send them the used containers for recycling purposes.

However coconut oil doesn’t suit everyone. Also if you research you shouldn’t apply aloe Vera directly. Physical scrubs are so harmful for the skin. It’s all backed by research. There is no harm in investing in good skin care according to your skin. But please don’t recommend things like this.
