Protein PB&J Recipe!
Macros per PB&J:
217 Cals, 29g Carbs, 6g Fat, 14g Protein!
Ingredients for Low Carb Jam:
6oz Fresh Strawberries
5oz Fresh Blueberries
5oz Fresh Raspberries
112ml Water
28ml Lemon Juice
6g Gelatin
6g Zero Cal Sweetener of your choice
Directions:
1.) Pulse all your berries in a food processor till you have a puree.
2.) Add that berry puree to a stove top pot along with 112ml of your water.
3.) Turn burner on 5/10 heat and cook till you get a boil.
4.) Mix along throughout to avoid burning. You want a strong boil that is starting to rise. That’s when you know it’s ready to turn the burner off.
5.) While your jam mixture is cooking, add your lemon juice and gelatin to a bowl and mix. Set to the side to set.
6.) Once jam in the pot is ready, turn the burner off and add your lemon juice/gelatin mixture and mix it in.
7.) Let sit in the pot for about 20 minutes.
8.) Then add to your mason jars and let sit overnight to set.
9.) Then enjoy!
