2000 was certainly a magical season for OU. It was such a fun year coming out of nowhere! I don't think the way 2000 played out will ever happen again.

It would be nice if the intros to a big game today were half as good as they were back then! Musburger really hyped you up!

Seems to me Brent musburger seems to really enjoy himself when someone scores against OU or makes a great play against them I've noticed this in a lot of games that he announces

@@steelbuck6777 you did a great job editing this game looking forward to more games and especially Oklahoma games I'm a big fan of Oklahoma.... I especially love the old games in the early 80s with Oklahoma Nebraska Georgia with Herschel Walker hopefully you can get no huddle games with those teams also in the future

@@johnmanning4097 Being that the 70's early 80's were my childhood years, it's easily my favorite era for football. I know I have a number of OU-Neb games up as well as a few Herschel Walker games. If there's something in particular you have in mind that's not up, feel free to let me know. I never had a rooting interest in either OU or Neb, but I used to love watching that rivalry. Shame what happened (Neb-Iowa? lol)

Thanks so much ,I remember watching this game with my dad and when Marshall got the pick six we jump so high we hit our heads on the ceiling.

Imagine the cheering the return of that pick-6 from the middle of the A&M student section... it was awesome. (and believe you me, you get the evil eye when you're not participating in all those group chants)

Sooner fans knew this was going to be a super hard game to win and Texas A & M played such a gutsy game. Great win leading to a National Championship.

Totally forgot how good OU was back then. Griffen was a beast at RB and Heupel was a wizard at QB. Torrance Marshall was a monster at LB

Heupel had to be the smartest QB that ever played because God knows he didn't have an arm. He had a throwing arm like a 12 year old girl

AP & Big 12 POTY. Walter Camp winner. QB of the year award. I'm a Nebraska fan, but c'mon man, JH was very good. Maybe not the best that year IMO (I mean Brees was better), but without a doubt had an arm.
@jobu88

@@JG-hb4pw He was very good, but no one got away with it more often than he did throwing a high rainbow of a pass that you thought for sure 3 defensive backs would be there to intercept it, but somehow when it finally came down an OU receiver was there to catch it. He threw 3 or 4 like that against Nebraska that day. He had an acceptable arm but definitely below average velocity for a top level team. Who cares, he won us a national title, he can throw it however he wants LOL.
