Trevor n the dog and the music is pretty gay though . Just saying. The truck is sick The build part of the vid should be like 2hrs long with commentary. THAT would have been epic. But instead it's kinda useless and boring.

love your truck. my dream build. done lots of Toyotas. but tired of having the same truck as everyone else. and plus a Dakota with a 5.2 5 speed is where it's at. Lots of power In the small size truck as a toyota. don't have to do gears and duals.

dirtbird43 What Axle setup did you use? I'm trying to fix this shit I've started on my Dodge Dakota and I'd rather live axle swap. I hear a lot about using Dana 44s from a wagoneer *same track width* I don't wanna do those big expensive ass flare kits plus I like it a bit slimmer, I am trying to stay below 9k total in the truck I've got 3k in it so far with the entire truck and build. To me that's pretty damn amazing being it's LS swapped but I'm not done yet

What size tires ? how far did you stretch the front wheelbase ? How long is your front driveshaft ? Are you using your stock rear driveshaft ? I am building a 99 right now , with Dodge 2500 Axles , Leaf Sprung rear , Coilover front ... I think mine is stretched about 5" , and Im running 37's with Double Beadlocks and a Doubler T-case ...
@dirtbird43
10 жыл бұрын
37's, but I couldn't tell you the stretch amount. Front driveshaft is about 29" center to center, and the rear is custom made by a driveline shop at 62 inches? Don't quote me on that though. www.pirate4x4.com/forum/dodge/1442385-y2k-dakota-sas.html
