Wilko and BOD at the peak of their powers (the latter virtually impossible to deal with by Australia). Robinson breaking onto the scene with a ridiculous try too. What a side that was. Losing Hill for the third test was the turning point.

I LOVE Lions Series'!! When The Lions get it right they play at a right old pace! Its ferocious, it's brutal, it's fantastic test match rugby. Cannot wait for 2013!!

Well your the hysteria 1 on here + you ain't got an honest bone in your body or you'd of told the truth that lions lost because Australia were not full squad in 1st test & lions had mostly England test squad who the forwards had been together since 95' world cup & the Irish, Wales, Scottish, player/athletes were compliment to Graham Henry's side but Australia got their shot together with full compliment of rugby stars back & the old heads in the forwards slowed the ball down & stifled the more free flowing rugby of the northern hemisphere which was crazy then but it was the last time early 2000's since they were superior culminating in the 03' world cup 🏆 win But it's come full circle & now they're the best again with Ireland & Wales coming here & winning series in the south at Aotearoa & Australia 🇦🇺 own country They gonna need to step up

It is a mark of the quality of Australia that year that they beat this Lions team. So many of the greatest players to ever play with the Lions and in top form. But the world champions also had a lot of world class

7:35 he makes a complete hash of a tackle. I can't help thinking that Tuilagi and Roberts might start this time around (2013) just to dominate the midfield battle physically. 12 years after this test it is amazing that BOD is still playing at an international level.

I think the problem with test rugby these days is that defence has really changed. Instead of being competitive in the tight defences tend to 'ice' every ruck, with only the original tackler trying to slow the ball, so that there's always cover for the defence. It's a shame really, the actual game has improved and yet the spectacle has been lost :(

8 Englishman in this starting Lions XV : Vickery, Johnson, Grewcock, Corry, Hill, Wilkinson, Robinsin, Perry. What are the chances of there being at least 8 Welshman being int the starting XV for the 1st test on 23 rd June?

Defense and physicality has improved so much it has certainly changed the game. I like the modern game, apart from the scrum, which is just a mess and a penalty machine.

Okay have a look at southern hemisphere rugby for example like, super 15 and rugby champonship (NZ, Aus, Boks, pumas) Some of the rugby there is breathtaking, also northern rugby is class but southern seems a world (or hemisphere) on their own
