@DanielByers-qf9qi
9 ай бұрын
@@scottcartwright9008 Generally, on their early hits, before Brian withdrew from touring and started using drugs, Brian wrote the music while Mike wrote the lyrics. From 1961-1966, Wilson-Love credits were almost as frequent among early-60s hits as Goffin-King and Lennon-McCartney. Brian almost always needed a lyricist: Mike Love, Tony Asher, Van Dyke Parks, and others. Brian contributed ideas, but the partner did the main writing. Mike Love considered Tony Asher's lyrics for Good Vibrations mediocre (and they were), and wrote his own, which have stood the test of time.
