Sorry to disappoint you(actually, I'm not sorry)! The manual transmission is nearly dead. It's on life support. That's not changing anytime soon.

🙄 yeah sure, all that knowledge! Mercedes and other brands are clearly missing on your vision and innovative points of view. Please don’t waste it answering to comments on KZitem videos. Kid, if you don’t know how to drive stick just say it. It’s america, no one will judge you for your poor driving skills and preferences. Also, are you sorry or not? Put your shit together

I had a 2002 Turbo S. I loved that car. We did have many electrical problems until VW changed the whole unit with the speedometer etc. But that little car lasted 230,000 miles. The timing belt broke and killed the car. We paid someone to change the belt ( I'm not sure, but i think it was a chain? Not sure...) but when the engine blew, VW said it still had the original timing belt. We paid someone to do nothing and were misled. I believe this car would still be going if that belt didn't break. That was a fun... great 6 speed straight shift. I loved it.

Remember the days of the trunk-mounted 6 disc CD changer!!! But yeah these were great cars, a round GTI, surprisingly quick, and predictable handling.

Manual cars are more fun to drive, automatic cars are boring to drive. Everyone should learn to drive manual, it would keep people off their cellphones.

I love these but I wanted one in blue so I bought a regular turbo Beetle and I'm slowly building it up into a Turbo S "tribute car" of sorts in the same way that people used to do up Mustangs to look like the Shelby version. :P

@@Ferraridude13 IMO they should have done a Series 2 RSi alongside the Golf R32 that was similarly priced and equipped. They were so expensive because they were low production homologation specials with lots of extra bits of carbon fiber and chassis stiffening that doesn't really translate into anything useful on the street. If I could get something that looks and sounds like an RSi but maybe in a color that isn't silver and with a comfier interior you wouldn't be able to convince me there was any car cooler.
