Those are the spark plug changes I like. Nice, easy access.

Is something satisfying about seeing what the old plugs (or whatever part you're replacing).

Yes i agree. It does tell you something about how its been running and you get to see what they look like after years of use

Why didn't you show what the old plugs looked like and comment on the shape those plugs were in? Burning oil, to cold, ect.

Because most people do not care, most people have an issue , a code pop up, or routine plug change and want to see how to change.

From watching other videos I had seen that the plugs need to be torqued to a specific force. Will it be okay to do without using a torque wrench?
@EfurdGarage
3 жыл бұрын
Torquing with out the proper tool can lead to damaging the plug or threads of the head. I have never torqued a plug. tappered plugs i hand tighten and tighten about 1/16 of a turn.

@@EfurdGarage this is very very true.i helped a friend awhile back change his plugs and lemme tell ya whoever put those last set of plugs in our them in way way way to tight.i actually had to use a very small amount of pb blaster and let it sit over night then they finally broke loose.never tighten a spark plug that tight.itll just make it harder for yourself in the long run.when it's snug like he said about a sixteenth of a turn lol

Do you have to add anti seize?
@EfurdGarage
3 жыл бұрын
no manufacturers and plugs companys dont recommend it because you can easily over tighten with anti seize

Are the plugs pre gapped
@EfurdGarage
10 ай бұрын
Yes. Almost every plug is pre gapped these days due to the meteral of them you can damage them gapping them

You made that look way too easy. I would have cross threaded a spark plug or two..LOL
@EfurdGarage

They are easy to get to but i know it can make it hard when you gotta blindly drop the plug and hopefully get it straight and catch the threads
